Every Class Tier Set in WoW Forever

The nine tier sets at a glance

Hover a set name to see its pieces and bonuses. Everything below comes from the beta (patch 1.60.1), so names, stats and bonuses can still change before raids open.

How to get the tier sets

• They come from Hyjal Summit. The sets are tied to the 20-player Hyjal Summit raid, and Blizzard showed several of them as Hyjal rewards at BlizzCon. Raids open on 9 December, five weeks after launch.
• Six pieces, level 65. Each set has a helm, shoulders, chest, gloves, legs and boots. The items are level 65 and need a level 60 character.
• Four pieces can be crafted. According to the beta files, four pieces of each set are made by Leatherworking, Tailoring or Blacksmithing at 300 skill. They need Malleable Essence of Nature, from disenchanting Hyjal Summit or Barrow Deeps items, and top-tier camp stations. You can only wear one crafted piece at a time.
• The rest isn’t known yet. The other pieces are still hidden in the game files. Expect them to drop in the raid.

Every tier set, class by class

Each picture shows the set from the front, side, three-quarter and back.

Druid — Grovekeeper

Green and gold, with an antlered helm and a mantle of leaf-like feathers. It looks exactly like a set that could have shipped with the original game — very “Classic Plus”.

Druids get four versions: Grovekeeper Raiment (Restoration), Grovekeeper Rage (Feral tank), Grovekeeper Ferocity (Feral damage) and Grovekeeper Eclipse (Balance). The Raiment’s bonuses:

• 2 pieces: +10 Spirit.
• 3 pieces: Barkskin cooldown reduced by 10 sec.
• 4 pieces: Up to +26 healing and +9 spell damage.
• 5 pieces: Swiftmend cooldown reduced by 3 sec.

Hunter — Wildstalker

Furs, leather and a beast skull on the shoulder. It’s the closest thing to dressing up as Rexxar, and easily one of the best-looking sets of the nine.

Wildstalker Armor is the Hunter’s only set:

• 2 pieces: +1% attack and casting speed.
• 3 pieces: Frost Trap and Freezing Trap cooldowns reduced by 3 sec.
• 4 pieces: +36 Attack Power against Beasts.
• 5 pieces: Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot cooldowns reduced by 1 sec.

Mage — Manaflare

Purple-and-gold robes studded with glowing orbs, topped with a tall, tight hood. The hood is what splits opinion: together with the robe it makes this the most divisive set of the nine. Expect plenty of Mages to transmog the helm.

Manaflare Regalia is the Mage’s only set:

• 2 pieces: +1% chance to hit.
• 3 pieces: Counterspell cooldown reduced by 5 sec.
• 4 pieces: Up to +21 spell damage against Elementals.
• 5 pieces: Frostfire Bolt works better with Missile Barrage and gains critical strike chance during Combustion.

Paladin — Justice

Bright white-and-gold plate with a winged helm. After the Mage set it’s a palate cleanser, and it has a strong PvP-gladiator feel.

Paladins get three versions: Justice Armor (Holy), Justice Battlegear (Retribution) and Justice Battleplate (Protection). The Battlegear’s bonuses:

• 2 pieces: +1% attack and casting speed.
• 3 pieces: Hammer of Justice cooldown reduced by 5 sec.
• 4 pieces: +36 Attack Power against Demons.
• 5 pieces: Judgement cooldown reduced by 0.5 sec.

Priest — Conviction

White, gold and teal robes with a spiked, halo-like helm. The set as a whole is striking; the helm is the part that won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Priests get two versions: Vestments of Conviction for healing and Raiments of Conviction for Shadow. The Vestments’ bonuses:

• 2 pieces: +10 Spirit.
• 3 pieces: Fear Ward cooldown reduced by 60 sec.
• 4 pieces: Up to +26 healing and +9 spell damage.
• 5 pieces: Penance and Prayer of Mending cooldowns reduced by 1 sec.

Rogue — Grimstitch

Dark teal leather, a red face mask and huge stitched shoulder pads. It has a classic RPG-assassin look, and the shoulders are the highlight.

Grimstitch Armor is the Rogue’s only set:

• 2 pieces: +1% chance to hit.
• 3 pieces: Kidney Shot cooldown reduced by 3 sec.
• 4 pieces: +36 Attack Power against Humanoids.
• 5 pieces: Envenom and Eviscerate cost 5 less Energy.

Shaman — Spiritcaller

A white wolf-pelt headdress, enormous fur shoulders and turquoise stones. Right up there with the Hunter set for the best of the nine — it’s the kind of set that makes you want to level a Shaman.

Shamans get three versions: The Spiritcaller (Restoration), The Spiritcaller’s Rage (Enhancement) and The Spiritcaller’s Storm (Elemental). The Storm set’s bonuses:

• 2 pieces: +1% chance to hit.
• 3 pieces: Earthbind Totem cooldown reduced by 2 sec.
• 4 pieces: Up to +21 spell damage against Elementals.
• 5 pieces: Lava Burst cooldown reduced by 1 sec.

Warlock — Demonheart

Dark purple robes trimmed in gold, with purple crystals and chains wrapped around the body. The chains and crystals are great. The caged, mask-like helm is less so — it can look a lot like a beekeeper’s veil.

Demonheart Raiment is the Warlock’s only set:

• 2 pieces: +1% chance to hit.
• 3 pieces: Banish cast time reduced by 1.5 sec.
• 4 pieces: Up to +21 spell damage against Demons.
• 5 pieces: Life Tap gives 20% more Mana at no extra Health cost.

Warrior — Glory

Navy and gold plate with a horned helm and red accents. It keeps things simple and still looks great — a proper Warrior set.

Warriors get two versions: Battlegear of Glory for Arms and Fury, and Battleplate of Glory for tanking. The Battlegear’s bonuses:

• 2 pieces: +1% attack and casting speed.
• 3 pieces: Intimidating Shout cooldown reduced by 30 sec.
• 4 pieces: +36 Attack Power against Humanoids.
• 5 pieces: Recklessness cooldown reduced by 30 sec.

Which set looks best?

Our pick: the Shaman’s Spiritcaller and the Hunter’s Wildstalker lead the pack. The Paladin and Warrior sets are safe, clean plate. The Mage, Priest and Warlock sets are great from the neck down but have helms that won’t suit everyone — luckily transmog lets you hide or swap a helm.
